April Cass Freight Index shows fifth month of declining shipments
April shipments, at 1.194, were down 3.2% annually and down 0.3% compared to March. This marks the fifth consecutive month that annual shipments were down. April expenditures, at 2.909, rose 6.2% annually and were up 0.7% compared to March.
